My name is Brooke Herzog, and I am currently a senior at Watkinson School in Hartford, Connecticut. I am passionate about volunteering, my family and friends, and volleyball and tennis. At Watkinson, I am in my second year of the Global Studies Program, which is a two-year-long dual-diploma program. The Global Studies Program teaches students new ways to become better more aware global citizens by becoming more knowledgeable and active in the world around us. My main interests are in global public health and human rights. I joined global studies to become more knowledgeable about the world around me and improve my understanding of the differences between my life and others' lives worldwide from a cultural, equity, and healthcare perspective.
